William Sweedler

Chairman of the Board

Mr. Sweedler has served as the Chairman of Centric Brands Inc.'s board of directors since January 2016. Mr. Sweedler currently serves as Co-Founder and General Partner of Tengram Capital Partners, a consumer private equity firm formed to invest in the consumer and retail sectors. He also currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Sequential Brands Group (SQBG), as well as a Director at several privately held companies such as Tommie Copper, Luciano Barbera and Zanella. Previously, Mr. Sweedler was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Windsong Brands, a diversified brand development and investment company that specialized in the acquisition, growth, licensing, and comprehensive management of consumer branded intellectual property and businesses. Prior to that, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Joe Boxer, a wholly owned division of the Iconix Brand Group (NASDAQ: ICON) of which he was also an Executive Vice President and Director. Mr. Sweedler holds a B.S. in Finance and Investments from Babson College.

Jason Rabin

Chief Executive Officer and Director

Mr. Rabin has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Centric Brands Inc. and as a member of the board of directors since October 2018. Mr. Rabin is responsible for building and leading the senior executive team and setting the strategy and direction of the Company including driving the Company’s culture, values, and behavior.

Most recently, Mr. Rabin was President, North America of Global Brands Group since November 2015, and served as Chief Merchandising Officer from 2014 to 2017 overseeing Global Brand Group’s merchandising strategy and global brand portfolio. Previously, Mr. Rabin was President of Li & Fung Group Asia Limited, where he managed the Company’s fashion and home distribution business in Asia. Prior to that, he was President of Kids Headquarters, a children’s and young men’s apparel manufacturer from 2003 to 2009. Mr. Rabin holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Miami.

Mr. Rabin has received several awards for his leadership accomplishments at Kids Headquarters, including the Supplier Performance Award by Retail Category, the Ernie Awards and the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA) Licensing Excellence Award, in addition to the Business Visionary Award at the 21st Annual Accessories Council Excellence Awards ceremony in 2017.

Patrick J. Bartels, Jr.


Mr. Bartels has served as a member of the board of directors since March 2020. He is a managing member at Redan Advisors LLC since December 2018. From 2002 to December 2018, Mr. Bartels served as a managing principal at Monarch Alternative Capital LP, a private investment firm. Prior to joining Monarch, Mr. Bartels was a high-yield investments analyst at Invesco Ltd. Mr. Bartels began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and holds a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in Accounting with a concentration in Finance from Bucknell University.

Marjorie Bowen


Ms. Bowen has served as a member of the board of directors since April 2020. She has extensive board experience having served on numerous public and private company boards including women’s apparel and accessory retailer The Talbots when it was a public company and Genesco (NYSE: GCO), the owner of Johnson and Murphy and Journeys shoe stores. Previously, Ms. Bowen was a Managing Director at the investment banking firm Houlihan Lokey. As the head of the firm’s fairness opinion practice, Ms. Bowen advised boards of directors on a wide variety of transactions across many industries. Ms. Bowen holds a BA Colgate University and received an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Matthew Eby


Mr. Eby has served as a member of the board of directors since January 2016. Mr. Eby currently serves as Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Tengram Capital Partners where he is responsible for originating, underwriting and monitoring investments and co-managing daily activities of the firm. Mr. Eby also currently serves as Chairman of El Cap, the holding company for the climbing gyms Earth Treks and Planet Granite, and is a member of the board of directors of Algenist and Lime Crime. Previously, Mr. Eby was the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of JAWS Estates Capital, the private investment office of Barry Sternlicht and the Sternlicht family. In 2009, on behalf of Starwood Capital Group, he led the Initial Public Offering of Starwood Property Trust (NYSE: STWD), a mortgage REIT focused on commercial real estate properties that raised over $930 million. Mr. Eby holds a degree from the United States Naval Academy, serving as an officer of the U.S. Navy for five years, and received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Sherman K. Edmiston III


Mr. Edmiston has served as a member of the board of directors since April 2020. He is a senior restructuring executive with over 25 years of experience working with companies undergoing transformation. Since 2016, Mr. Edmiston has served as the Managing Member of HI CapM Advisors, Ltd., a consulting firm that provides strategic and financial advisory services to private equity funds, hedge funds, asset managers and corporations. Mr. Edmiston was a Partner and Managing Director at Zolfo Cooper LLC from November 2009 until December 2015. Mr. Edmiston received his B.S. in mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and his MBA from the University of Michigan.

Glenn Krevlin


Mr. Krevlin has served as a member of the board of directors since October 2018. Mr. Krevlin currently serves as Founder, Managing Member and Portfolio Manager of Glenhill Capital Advisors LLC. Previously, he served as the President of Glenhill Capital Advisors LLC and on the board of directors for Design Within Reach Inc., which is owned by Herman Miller Inc. Mr. Krevlin also previously served on the board of trustees for the IDEAL School of Manhattan. Mr. Krevlin holds a B.A. in Economics and Government from Wesleyan University and received an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

Walter McLallen


Mr. McLallen has served as a member of the board of directors since January 2016. Mr. McLallen is currently the Managing Member of Meritage Capital Advisors, an advisory boutique focused on debt and private equity transaction origination, structuring and consulting since 2004. He has extensive board and organizational experience and has served a Director of Differential Brands Group since February 2016, and Haymaker Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: HYAC), a blank check company that is under contract to purchase One Spa World, since November 2017. He has served on boards of several private companies, including Timeless Wine Company, Twomey and OVID, Worldwise, adMarketplace, Classic Brands, Champion One, and Dutchland Plastics. Previously, Mr. McLallen was the Founder and Co-Chairman of Tomahawk Strategic Solutions, a law enforcement, military and corporate training and security company. From 2006 to 2015, Mr. McLallen was the Executive Vice Chairman of Remington Outdoor Company, an outdoor consumer platform he co-founded with a major investment firm. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director for CIBC World Markets, as a head of Debt Capital Markets and head of High Yield Distribution from 1995 to 2004. Mr. McLallen holds a B.A. with a double major in Economics and Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Kent Savage


Mr. Savage has served as a member of the board of directors since June 2004, and also previously served on the board of Differential Brands and Joe's Jeans. Mr. Savage is currently General Partner of Savage Interests LP, a limited partnership for investments, and Co-Founder of Icon.me LLC, a new ventures partnership. Previously, he served as Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Famecast, Inc., a privately-held interactive entertainment company, and as the Chief Executive Officer of Digital Lifestyles Group, Inc., a publicly-traded personal computer company. He also previously served as Co-Founder, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for TippingPoint Technologies (NASDAQ: TPTI), a network security company which was acquired by 3Com. Prior to that, Mr. Savage served as Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer and President for Netpliance, Inc. (NASDAQ: NPLI), as General Manager, Broadband for Cisco Systems Inc. and Vice President, Sales and Marketing for NetSpeed, Inc., which was acquired by Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO). Mr. Savage has been recognized as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist and is the recipient of Time Magazine's Best Innovations and Digital Hollywood's Top 20 consumer companies. Mr. Savage holds a B.S. in Business from Oklahoma State University, attended University of Virginia's Executive Leadership Program, and received an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University.
